I’m based in tropical Madison, Wisconsin. I’ve been in Madison for almost seven years now, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I display most of my work at my home here in Madison, but I occasionally show work at art fairs, markets, and galleries. If you’re a gallery interested in display any of my work, please reach out!

Contact me at sassyspritestudios@gmail.com and we can arrange a pick-up in Madison, Wisconsin or I can ship to you!
I accept cash or Venmo. If neither of those work for you, let me know and we can work something out.

I can ship to the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska.
Unfortunately, I do not ship internationally at this time.
I also encourage patrons to choose local meet-up/pick-up if possible. Shipping does cost extra depending on the size of the painting and how quickly you want it. Shipping also carries the risk of the painting being damaged or lost.

Contact me to commission a custom painting.
My commissions are currently open!
It helps if you have an idea of what you’d like: size, colors, abstract v. impressionist, etc. If you’d like me to have free reign to do anything, that’s awesome, too. I want commissions to be a collaborative process!

The price of each painting varies based on size, time spent on the painting, and materials used. Generally, I multiply the square inches of a painting by .25 or so and then adjust upwards or downwards as needed to fairly account for time and materials.

Yes! I understand that fine art is a luxury that not everyone can spend the same amount on. If you want to commission a painting and have a budget in mind, please just let me know. I’m happy to work with you.

Most of my paintings are on display inside my own home. From time to time I show my work at art fairs, markets, and galleries. Check out the Updates & News page to see where my work is currently on display or being sold.
If you’re interested in purchasing or displaying any of my work, please contact me at sassyspritestudios@gmail.com or on Instagram @sassyspritestudios.

My original paintings cost more than prints for several reasons.
My paintings are original fine art. I do not make copies or prints of them. Each painting is entirely unique, and that makes them valuable. If you buy one of my paintings, no one else in the world will own that same work.
My paintings are also the culmination of years of developing my personal skill and viewpoint as an artist. And, practically speaking, it costs money to create paintings. I buy my own canvases, paints, brushes, palette knives, etc. One canvas can cost anywhere from $15 to $50+ depending on the size, brand, and quality.
I want my paintings to be accessible to anyone who’s interested, and that’s why I have a variety of works for sale at different price points. I’m also willing to work within anyone's budget.

No. I do not create prints out of my paintings or sell copies of my paintings.
There is nothing wrong with printmaking, creating copies of your own work, and so on. I simply am not interested in doing so.
